I was motivated while watching it because I love to exercise. The reason I watch that show is because one day I'd like to be a personal trainer and help those kind of people out.

And, yes, actually, I ate a pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream while watching that show. MMMM ice cream. :)

I am watching it having eaten a sausage/egg/cheese sandwich, tots, & some chocolates thinking: "Wow those poor people are sucking it."

I was gonna be righteous and balance it all with a salad but between this question and the show I think I'll just chill in badness.

EDIT: I am drinking some water which is making me feel like a bit of a suck up. If the timing's right I'll go get a slurpee tonight or tomorrow.

It always seems to be on TV in Oz right about dinner time. So no, not ice cream, but a full plate of food in front of me.

Hard to feel motivated when you know those people are working out up to 18 hours a day and starving themselves.

Actually, I lost 85 pounds, largely on inspiration from that supposedly silly program, Fall and Winter before last, right through the last few weeks. Slow, steady, sustained, positive loss. I can never eat like I used to. When I get the chance, I don't, anymore than I would drink motor oil and eat steel wool. I cannot treat my body that way any more.

It's been good.

No. I decided that I wanted to do something in my life before I get really overweight.
I got off the couch, I got a bottle of water and I started to do push - ups. 1 month later... I lost 10 pounds!!!!
I'm 12!

I watched it but I am definintely not over weight.
What bothered me is how they could dump those tables of junk food on the floor and waste it,when the world is full of starving people even tho it could be bad for them if they ate it.

I really do enjoy seeing the transformations. I do get inspired. But, really motivation comes from within you have to want to do it and make up your own mind. what makes their weight loss successful is that they go home and do it.
