If a woman uses this exclusive right and the most cherished right of the female gender as means of birth control or to take care of careless carnal behaviour is she wrong legally?

Since it is only her right and her decesion only isnt it her right to use abortion in such a manner?

Isnt it her body after all ?

Edit:Why do you all say it is morally wrong when the very arguement given by some feminists is that a child in a womans womb does not have a life or a right to life????

Is morality of any use if legal power is given without considering the morality????

Under the law, yes it's legal.

But it's morally reprehensible.

No, not according to Roe v. Wade.

Since it is only her right and her decesion only isnt it her right to use abortion in such a manner?

This sounds like a tautology but I think the answer you are looking for is yes. Please word the question a little more clearly though.

Isnt it her body after all ?

What do you mean by 'it'? That is a vague question. I know court cases have come down on the side of the mother but that doesn't necessarily make them right. Even a/some judge/s can be wrong. I think this question is far more biological and philosophical than most would admit to. Biologically the child still is technically a part of 'her body' since it does contain half her DNA even after birth as well as being completely connected to her before birth. So essentially the mother is giving the child a part of the 'mother's body' in both situations. I think the real question is is that enough to make the child and mother the same thing? The answer is no, they are different things (unless of course the baby is a clone). Remember children also have half the father's DNA as well. So mother does not equal child nor does father equal child. Further more since the father lends part of his body to the child does that mean that the child is half the father's as well? To be logically consistent one would have to say yes. Humans, however, don't follow the rules of logic.

Dear Man In Search Of Answers,

Once again, I answer your question. I think you know, that it is not legally wrong if a woman uses abortion as a means of birth control. It is, however, sadistic.

Taking care of careless carnal behavior is not wrong legally, as you know, but it is the most selfish act a woman could make.

It may be her "right and decision" to use abortion in such a manner according to Law, although, I call it her "right and decision" to legally kill.

Yes, it is her body but, she gave that body to someone else and together they created another living being that doesn't only belong to her. Murder in this manner or in any manner should not be legal!

Putting moral, social, and legal issues aside (because we are never all going to agree) having abortion after abortion does so much damage to your body that just from a health standpoint, it shouldn't be used as regular birth control.

I am alive today because the Man who is My 'Father' paid My 'biological' Mother the equivalent of $200.oo NOT to have an abortion. Where do You think I stand on this subject? Her reason for getting pregnant was so that She could entrap the Man She claimed to be in love with. At what point in time did She establish Her right to 'freedom of choice'?
I strongly advise You to get in touch with the real world where real things actually do happen and the Innocent are the true victims.

Look, no matter how you look at it, abortion is wrong. We are taking the life of a human being. Who knows who's life we are taking other than God. This person might be someone that is suppose to do something wonderful and important in this world. It is a very diffcult situation to be in if you are pregnant and do not know any other option. There is always options in every life's situation. Someone out there who really wants a baby and can't have one will have much love for this child you want to abort. Sex is not a game. It is a very dangerous game to play with all the diseases out there. Smarten up. No baby should have to pay for your stupidity.

Yes it is her body while she is here on earth, but her body should be her temple. Technically the body is a loaner from God. Why would you want to constantly damage your body. There will come a time when she really wants to have children and will not be able to,because of all the damage she has done to it. Having a child is a precious gift from God and if she does not want to have a child, then she should protect herself in a manner that she cant have kids or not have sex. If you know you are very fertile and have had an abortion once already, why continue to have them? It is a choice that a woman has, but a bad one in my opinion. If the woman dies and goes to heaven, how will she feel when that innocent baby comes to her and ask, "Mommy why did you kill me? What did I do for you not to love me or want me?" Think about it and let me know what you think.

It isn't illegal but it is definitely immoral. I have heard that women that have multiple abortions can have trouble getting pregnant & carrying a baby to term. So it can come back to haunt her later.
I don't think abortion should be done just for birth control anyway. For the most part I believe adoption should be the answer for unwanted pregnancy.
My best friend had an abortion as a teenager and regrets it every day, she's now 37.

There's nothing legally wrong for a Woman to use abortion as a form of birth control. After all, One would think after the FIRST abortion, they would realize the importance of protection.

It's legal, but it's also wrong. In these modern times when birth control is accessible, why should this be one's method of birth control? It's a sad statement about the woman who does so.

It isn't wrong legally (depending on where you are), but this is where morality comes into play. Abortion should only be used in extreme circumstances, i.e. rape, incest, etc. If a woman wants to remain childless, she should either use protection or consider sterilization.
