Ask the pharmacy about the price of the generic. They could have made a mistake.

It's not fraud they're just ripping you off. Now if they were selling generic drugs as the name brand ones than that id fraud.

You should find a new pharmacy. I recommend Walgreen's or CVS.

There is no difference in potency or in quality. Some may be licensed from the original maker and be made by an identical process. Some prescriptions are written non-generic because doctors don't care how much their patients pay. Other are written non-generic because doctors have seen some differences in an individual patent's response to different brands of same medicine.

No it is not fraud, but a big rip off! That is the trouble with drug companies. They can charge anything they want. So shop around for the best price. Call all of the drug stores, or ask your druggist to give you the cheapest generic drug.

It is a rip-off. It's not fraud unless they are representing it as the brand name. Get another pharmacy.

No it is not "fraud". If the prices are posted, they can charge whatever you want. If you have an issue with that pharmacy, you can take your business elsewhere.

It's fraud if they give you the generic, charge the same price, and tell you it's the brand name . . . otherwise, they're just ripping you off.

is the medication going through your insurance company? If so it could be your copay regardless of whether its generic or brand name. But if you are paying cash I would question it and if they can't explain why then I would switch pharmacies.
