it could be, I would page the doctor and tell her what you're experiencing
they get paid mega bucks to take calls all hours of the day/night, dont worry about them!
=) Congrats on yer baby!
1cm doesn't mean anything really...I was barely 3cm when I went into the hospital with my 2nd baby and they were about to send me home...but I begged and 30 minutes later out popped my son. lol

Wellll, do you FEEL like you need to pee? Or is it that you feel liquid leaking from somewhere down there? If you sat on the couch or layed down on the couch, would the fluid still be leaking out? It could be either thing. The baby could be pushing on your bladder making it leak urine, or it could be your water leaking. Is the pain in your hip area constant or does it come and go? If it comes and goes, can you time it? My doctor had a kind of funny sense of humor about my phone calls to him about stuff like this. He would say, well, if its labor, it won't stop! At the time, I thought, very funny, but in hindsight he was right, of course. If it were me, I would write down everything that happens and what time it happens, so if you do have to call the doctor later you can tell him/her exactly when and what happened. And of course, try to relax and get some rest because if you are going into labor, you might as well be rested.

I had the same thing when I was pregnant, the hospital kept telling me it was nothing but it turned out that they were wrong and my son was born a month early. I suggest that you make your way over to the hospital soon and check into labour and delivery. You never know what can happen my son and I both almost lost our lives because of this issue.
After all was said and done I ended up with an emergency c-section and was informed later that I did in fact have a slow fluid leak. Don't take the chance with your child's innocent life and do everything that you can to protect them.
You may want to give it some time before you head out but I'm guessing that the contractions are soon on their way.
Good luck and congrats

Well sounds very much like your water broke! Go check (call MD). Now I see a lot about causing infection etc. Actually after 24 hrs of ruptured membranes, antibiotics will be started if delivery isn't imminent because the chances of infection rise so its general protocol. In the meantime 1cm isn't very dilated and you need to efface. Only a few women have precipitous labor (delivery w/in 60 mins of onset) so your OB may suggest that you go home, or go for a walk and try to get labor progressing and check in later. Pack that bag its happening sooner than later..
Good luck, CONGRATS! GO call your OB!

Call the Dr. I think your water broke! It is very possible that it just trickles. Make sure you put a pad on so the nurses can record the color of your water. Clear is great news! Seriousley though get of the PC and call your DR. tell him you think your water broke and head to the hospital!

Go and get the fluid checked! It is quick and easy, it can be check with litmus paper, to determine if it is urine or amniotic fluid. If it is your fluid, they will most likely begin antibiotics and induce labor. If you fluid is leaking, baby is no longer protected from infection, and problems will arise. Many times, it is just urine, incontinence is VERY common due to all the new weight and positioning on your bladder. Don't wait, get it checked out to be safe :-)

I think it is time for you to go and get checked out by your doctor. That is how my water broke with my firstborn. I felt like I had to pee really bad, but didn't go pee, and there was still liquid falling into the toilet. If your bag isn't packed, you need to get it ready after you call your doctor. Congratulations and I hope you have a speedy and easy delivery.

the rigors which you're feeling is mot probable the toddler dropping down into the delivery canal. each little thing is stretching and dropping decrease to get waiting for the transport. the release is maximum probable the commencing up of you loosing your "plug". And if it extremely is going on, then you extremely probably are putting out to dilate. in simple terms be in contact with your general practitioner's workplace. They wil answer enormous apple questions you have. reliable luck!

If it is amniotic fluid there is an easy test to determine it and if so, your doctor will probably want in the hospital as your baby will be coming very soon!
Congratulations!
