First, I have to comment that I find it intersting that mostly females have answered this...
I was called by my middle name until I started HS at which point, I decided to be called by my first name which is Susan. I have ALWAYS loved nicknames & decided to pick my own along with the name change. That nickname is "Suz" (pronounced like the plural verb "sues") & I still sign a lot of my informal notes & emails that way.
One more quick story...I used to have a friend who nicknamed me "Beautiful" & I always LOVED that, because I rarely (if ever) feel beautiful! (But I did everytime he said it.)

Great Question.
I favor Duke or Red.
Nothing to do with John Wayne, just my red beard and my secret desire to own a castle.

Bambi, my friends have called me that since last year because I run like a deer. I have a bouncy run.
