Dead at only 42,,,what did you die from? I cut my spleen out with a dull spoon about 20 years ago and I had no anesthetic,,,,,but I was wasted on brew.

No,it never hurts to have some measure of control over your own life and anyway,who really trusts doctors anymore? I think you did the right thing. As for being dizzy,that's just normal post-op. If you get infected and bloat up with pus though,that's a bad sign,especially if it's bulging you out everywhere. Then you need to prick yourself or you'll pop right open. You don't want that to happen. I use an ice pick for that circumstance.

Nah, am sure something beautiful got planted in that spot (where the spleen was), and will be a thing of beauty growing, while the rest of you is composting.

Call the ambulance instead of sitting here on Yahoo Answers if you really did damage your spleen. It's part of your immune system. And you'd be bleeding very heavily. And you might want to seek help if you're thinking about it.
