He teaches graphic design and is VERY critical of everyone , not just myself. But he told me to stay after and I could not , I had to pick up my son from daycare.I knew from the first day this was not going to be fun and unfortunatly this teacher teaches all classes that are related to my major.The entire atmosphere of this class is negative. What should I do?

Then you are stuck so try and make the most of the situation. maybe he is hard on you becasue he sees a lot of potential you are not utilizing.

Talk to your counselor, I think he's trying to hit on you also, unless you are not the only one he wanted to stay over! Maybe he has a record of this behavior already on record!

Try to schedule his classes at times that are not close to other obligations that you have because you know he is not understanding about things that come up.
