My son was over a year before any of his teeth came through (at the time I was really worried that they wouldn't grow!!) so that really isn't a problem. Usually the front teeth come in first though - so maybe you should make an appointment with your doctor or dentist just to make sure everything is okay!

She will be fine, she is now getting her first tooth before long she will be having more lumps and teeth coming up. I would not worry nor compare her rate of growth in any aspect to another child. If the doctor thought there was something wrong he/she would have told you. Enjoy your sleep when you can cause those teething days and nights are just as hard on the parents.

Hopefully, they won't come in until she's about 13 months, like me. I never had any orthodontia problems. The longer it takes (and the bigger the mouth) the more likely it is that the teeth aren't crowded.

that's how my kids' teeth came in, and mine, and my fathers', and my brothers...so maybe it's a genetic thing, but anyway, all our teeth are fine.
Remember, babies don't read the "this and only this is normal" books.
