I had a brain anuerism 3 years ago and alzheimers runs in my family. I'm pretty much resigned to having memory loss.
I try to do word games and other things to keep my mind active, but my children say things like-"Mom-I already told you that'-a lot. Such is life.

Yes, I am 39 years old and I know my memory isn't what it used to be. My husband tells me about things we used to do back when we were dating....only 8 years ago!, and I swear I can't remember...of course I was drinking a lot back then...lol. But seriously, yes I do, and it's to the point that I tell my 16 year old son "If I ever find out that you have used my memory against me, I swear I will ground you longer!"
