3(-4) + (-5)^2
-5 * -5 = 25 so
-12 + 25 = 13
6(9 + 2)11 =
6 * 11 * 11 = 726

The answer is 13. To do this
1st. you do the Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally rule. Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiply, Divide, Add, Subtract..
You multiply (-5)^2 and get 25. Then you multiply 3(-4) and you get -12. Add those two numbers -12+25=13.
Do the second using the same rule. The answer is 726.

OK...
3 x -4 = -12
-5 x -5 = 25
-12 + 25 = 13
Next...
3 x 3 = 9
9 + 2 = 11
but it really doesn't make sense to say 6(11)11
I guess if you multiplied it all 6x11x11 = 726
not sure about the second one.

The slope is definitely (6-5) / (3-a million) = a million/2 Your mistake grew to become into making use of 6 for x1 in the next step. this is going to be a million. In factor-slope form, making use of the 1st factor: y-5 = (a million/2)(x-a million) y-5 = x/2 - a million/2 y = x/2 - a million/2 + 10/2 y = x/2 + 9/2
