I don't know if it's just me, but when you have a silent, empty room, what is that high-pitched noise you always seem to hear, and where is it coming from? Thanks!!

It's probably mild tinnitus. Most people hear a faint ringing or whistling noise in dead silence. Think of it as amplifier noise in your auditory system.

I think it's from the overhead lights. White noise.

if you have a computer or
other electronic devices
that are on, thats the noise.
it just comes from it being
on, that's all. some people
can hear it, while others
may not be able to. :]
