- x + 4 – 9x + 3 > 7(x – 2) first multiply - x + 4 - 9x +3 > 7x -14 then deliver at the same time like words -10x + 7 > 7x - 14 subtract 7 -10x > 7x - 21 subtract 7x -17x > -21 divide by ability of -17 x > 21/17
