I've never heard of any colleges offering classes in the paranormal.

And yes, I believe spirits exist because of personal experience with things that cannot be explained by any known science.

However, since I believe spirits are nothing more than pure energy, it would be hard to get a photograph of them. There is no solid mass there to photograph.

No one knows for sure just how many spirits are hanging around. Do not believe that a picture of a ghost cannot be gotten as my Paranormal Group have many pictures and no they were not messed with in any way. We just got done doing a Mansion that was part of the Underground Railroad and we have a perfect apparition of a female and she is wearing clothes from the 1850's. Again, we do not doctor or mess with anything we have gotten.
And there is a very popular University that does offer a class on the Paranormal and we even have a building just for the testing of the Paranormal. It is a very popular class also.

Paranormal behavior would simply be abnormal behavior and all psychology degrees include this in their course of study.

If you mean studies of parapsychology then Franklin Pierce College (fully accredited) offers a minor in parapsychology with a psychology major at the undergraduate (Bachelors degree) level.

Many universities will allow a thesis and/or dissertation on parapsychology subjects. Carl Jung's dissertation was on the psychological study of a medium.

I believe in the possibility of spirits existing and I don't dismiss all human experience as fraud, mental illness, or wishful thinking. Because I can't explain how they might exist (though some aspects of quantum physics might solve this problem) doesn't provide evidence that they don't exist.

I have yet to see a good picture of a spirit/ghost but the Brown Lady of Raynham (link below) is at least an interesting photograph taken by reputable people (so fraud is unlikely) that never again produced anything of the sort.

You aren't going to find any reputable colleges that offer serious classes in the paranormal because it isn't testable, falsifiable science. Psychology classes will cover a wide range of behavioral conditions, but none which are considered paranormal. You might find the occasional para- class, but it's probably just to fill a spot or because the professor is feeling lazy.

The study of paranormal behaviour is termed parapsychology - which is the other question area in the Alternative section. And no, I didn't need to study this in university since I grew up in a western society where everything is paranormal!!!

I believe in spirits and have been able to see them and speak with them since I was a small child.

When I was three I freaked my mother and grandmother when they heard me talking as if I were having a conversation with some one. So they asked me who I was talking to. I mentioned the name of a small child. (someone who had passed away before my mother was born) They tried to correct me saying she wasn't alive, and that I must have meant I was talking to the picture on the wall. I told them where the little girl was standing and what she was wearing.
Apparently I discribed the outfit she was buried in. something only my grandmother knew. They knew I was telling the truth as there wasn't anyone else who knew.

That being said, I am also highly skeptical of pictures where people claim it is a spirit. The reason being is that it is extremely easy to fake for anyone who wants to. Also there are lots of natural occurrences- such as orbs caused by dust or a reflection that may look like spirits. Ultimately its just too hard to prove even if you did think you caught something legit on camera.

There are no recognized colleges in the world as far as I know, but most States and provinces, as well as some larger cities have ghost and haunting societies and associations. Most of them offer some free info and sometimes even training on how to professionally conduct an investigation.
That might be something you would be interested in?

sorry that was so long winded. But I hope it was helpful to you. :)

I believe in ghosts, but there are no colleges that offer paranormal studies.

There are some photos that have unexplained things in them, but I doubt any real photographic evidence of ghost will ever exist.

I personally don't. There aren't any photos that can be offered as conclusive evidence of spirits, or even close. There aren't any reputable colleges that offer degrees in paranormal studies, at least in the US. There may be one or two in the world that do, though I don't know if they are accredited.
