It's always POSSIBLE you could have the same fingerprint as someone else, but it's statistically IMPROBABLE. What's more likely is a close enough match that it takes many more points than normal to differentiate. But even then it's highly unlikely you would every encounter a situation where your fingerprint was confused with someone else. In fact, science has never found two finger prints that were exactly the same.

No you can not, although there are cases where identical twins have very similar fingerprints, but they do not match 100% to each other. The likely hood of this occurring is very slim. the only possilble way is if some one got a sample of yours and copyed it onto fake finger tips, but that would be a lot of work , and probably wouldnt happen.

It has never been proved that all fingerprints are different.

However, one 19th Century scientist calculated that the odds of two fingerprints being identical in all minutiae (ridge characteristics) were about one in 64 billion. So for all intents and purposes, I would say no, you won't find identical prints.

Some identical twins have similar prints. In rare instances, have they been confused for one another, but as for exactly the same, probably never. There is always a very slim chance.

I don't think it's possible, not even in identical twins. I think there are still differences, even though the prints would be very much alike. Finger prints are like DNA.
