My former girlfriend had the first day of her last menstral cycle on July 14. She had sex on her period with someone else on July 18th. I had sex with here on July 28th. She had a blood pregnancy test on Aug 9th which came back negative. She is pregnant but we do not know who the father is. Given this information, who do you believe is the father.

July 28th - that day is 2 weeks into her cycle and that is when most women ovulate. If the baby was conceived on the 28th (or up to 3 days later depending on your swimmers) you wouldn't have a positive pregnancy test result for 2 weeks. If she had gotten pregnant on the 18th (or up to 3 days later) the result on August 9th would have been positive. Congrats, your about to be a daddy.

Sounds like you are going to be a daddy. Ovulation occurs around the 14th day after your period starts. That puts her ovulation at around the 28th. It is almost impossible for her to ovulate on the 18th if she just started her period the week before.

You could be the father, but it sounds like this girl is sleeping with a lot of people. Maybe there are other guys she has been with. I suggest you get a paternity test done after the baby is born

!0 days difference is pretty difficut to tell. How long before the 18th of July did you have sex?
I think you are going to have to talk to the GYN, and plan for testing for paternity. This can be done by chorionic villi sampling or amniocentesis.
