The reason they say for dismissal is because the accident happened on private property, can a case be dismissed because the accident happened on private property?My car is still damaged.

he doesn't get charged cause it was on private property. That happened to me at a grocery store but you can still contact his insurance or have your insurance company contact his. His ins. should pay for your damage.

You should still have the right to get the damages repaired, either through insurance or a property damages civil suit. It doesn't matter where the accident took place.

YES but you hafto go small clamis court
have the cop served with papers as your witness
be sure you add time lost from work. Did he offer
you proff of his driver IDand insurance papers?
It's a state law,in most states.
You can hire a Lawyer and if you win,the lawyer
fee will be paid by the looser,Make sure that the
amount e paid on demand.

The police may not issue a ticket on private property, but this does not stop you from hiring a lawyer to get compensated for your damages.

What case? did you file an insurance claim and that was also rejected?
If the car was parked at,say Walmart, you could sue Walmart but the responsibility lies on the driver of the vehicle who hit you.

Happened to me and I paid, but a cop who came said I didn't have to. I believe you can do it thru small claims court

Wow...that really sucks. I think i heard something about that being true. You need to ask an attorney that question tho ( just to make sure ). Good luck to you :-)
