We had a moment of silence at my job today, I declined to participate; I always decline moments of silence in protest! We can't say we honor our dead when we are sending more constantly to be killed!!!

Yes, I had a moment of silence for 9/11. while I was wacthing
the ceremony held at ground zero. I was thinkin about all the
people that lost their lives and I thought about their families.
I also thought about our troops fighting for us to try and make
sure nothing like this happens again, I know they can't stop
every terrorist, but I hold the soldiers and their and their families in high regard for their stand for our country.

Since our family lost three members on that day, we get together and form a prayer circle. We also dedicate a lot of other things through the year to their memory. You can imagine what I think of 9-11.

i work and live in nyc. the whole city was pretty quiet than general. i woke up with the incident being repeated on the news. i thought about the jihads *extremists of the muslim* religion and
and why there are some people who cannot compromise, and always think that their way is right...and i'm talking about the that of any religion, or politics...in general.
but we all went away with our daily lives. nothing's gonna stop us....oh the courage this city has!

I had of moment of silence this morning...
Most of the time i couldn't tell you what i was doing on a certain date...
I replay that morning so clearly, though.
I was getting my daughter ready for a check-up at the pediatrician....I do remember that all the errands i had to do that day seemed so insignificant and unimportant....

I'm going to be thinking about it all day.
But silence only makes the problem worse. It doesn't do J.S. for those who died!

It was at my high school during announcements in first period.
I thought about all the individuals who's lives it changed and how the country was different with its aftermath.

I was at home. I lit a candle and I also drove all day with my headlights on.
