I have a co-worker that is very picky about what she eats. We have free lunches where I work. I enjoy the meals even though sometimes they are not as good as home cooked, if you know what I mean. My co-worker hates all the food that is served and makes everyone miserable with her comments.

What can be said to her to make her shut up? (By the way, she can't be un-invited to lunch. We have to all go together).

purely on account which you experienced this in one place, by ability of far does no longer mean "maximum" adults are choosy eaters. i'd pass devoid of eating till now I went to a speedy food place. back, in keeping with an occurrance at ONE place, there is not any foundation so which you would be able to assume ninety% (or maybe 70%) of adults are choosy eaters. you ought to additionally examine your math. If 30% ate the recommendations available, that leaves 70%, no longer ninety%, who did no longer guard it. If this is truly significant to you to appreciate why those particular human beings have been fussy, you ought to probable ask them. there is not any way we would understand why those all of us is fussy... or did no longer guard the recommendations.

Send her off to anger management class

Super Glue in her lipstick

Confront her on it . . . as a group

Fire her ungrateful a$$

You know, not every meal that comes in to our office is the best tasting, but we eat what we like and make the best of it.

Tell her to tell the management she doesn't like the food, they could save money by not providing one for her the rest of you think it's fine, and it does no good to complain to you people it doesn't bother you folks and you're not gonna do anything about it.

Send an anonymous note to the highest ranking boss about her constant insults of the company's choices.
Tell her that "someone" complained about her.
Let her sweat it.

Maybe you could say something like this in a humorous manner.

Will you please stop telling us how bad this food is? It's hard enough to eat it without you reminding us.
