The 1973 NY Mets won the NL East with an anemic .509 W% (82-79), missing one game thanks to a rainout. That was pretty weak, and well-remembered, but...

The 2005 San Diego Padres did slightly, um, "better", finishing the entire 162 game schedule at 82-80, taking the NL West with a .506 W%.

Largely forgotten is the 1981 Kansas City Royals, who didn't win their division exactly, but did win the second half of the split season to earn a playoff berth. The Royals won the second half of the season (30-23, .566) but, combined with a dismal first half (20-30, .400), became the only losing team to ever reach MLB's postseason, with an overall 50-53, .485 record.

And finally, we turn to the disastrous 1994 season, where the Texas Rangers finished atop the AL West with a 52-62 record for a .456 W%. MLB did not declare divisional champions that season, and there were no playoffs, so make of this what you will.

In 2005, the San Diego Padres won the NL West with a record of 82-80 (.506) which I think is the worst percentage for a division winner.

new york mewts, in 1973, with an 82-79 record, which is just barely over .500! 2006 cardinals were also bad, at 83-78, but still won world series, and the "73 mets almost did!!

because of the fact the time closes in for the playoff, the commissioners workplace will supply permission for specific communities to print tickets. Tickets will then be made accessible as quickly because of the fact the communities are set. Jerry is genuine that the playing cards and Cubs does no longer play interior the wildcard interest.
