So I'm 17 and I always wanted to have a halloween party and so this year i'm thinking about having one but I have no ideas and a low budget. So what are the best games to play/ movies to watch (pg-13) and things to eat? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

My friends and I are going to get Saw,Scream,Hills Have Eyes,Psycho all the scary movies.

Also going to prank some houses. Stick plastic forks in peoples yard, put pads on peoples mail boxes Lol Also use silly string on people we see.

Just chill with your friends if its only a few people. If you want to scare people make a morgue out of a room. Smear fake blood on sheets and toss it over a fake body. Stuff newspaper in some old jeans and cut it up. Also smear the blood on a shirt and have it hang somewhere else. If you can decorate the room just right its a cool effect

As for food just get some halloween cookies and some drinks and stuff.

For games I say play pranks on people by casting 'spells' it's always funny to make people chant then rig a prank to happen right when they finish. Or have a small raffle. I'm not sure how many people you're having so hard to decide what games to do. Could have a scavenger hunt or something.

That could be a real challenge. Your not giong to please everyone with you choices of entertainment, so make it easy on yourself. I would suggest suppling some chips & dip, (an assortment.)
Get plenty of paper cups and an assortment of drinks (don`t forget the ice!) Set up some kind of seating arrangements so that they can go off into groups for discussion. (they usually do this). You could have evertybody vote for Best Costume, booby prize, etc. Music usually gets loud, and movies would be hard to watch with half the people talking. If you have a patio area out doors, this would be better. Mostly people just want to group together and be relaxed. You could have some hotdogs. Food & drink and conversation will probably be the main theme? You could throw up some streamers (inexpensive decorations?) If there are some musicians in the group, put them to work for a couple songs.
Well, thats all I can think of in a short time. But it`s a start.

Sounds like fun. Have everyone you invite to wear their Halloween attire. Play some fun games, listen to some music and I would have something simply like punch and some little finger sandwiches. You have to have a Halloween cake. Ask some of your good friends, to help with this. Hope, you have a great time.

Maybe you could ask your friends to participate. What teens really like are haunted houses. Ask a few friends if they could help you out by them buying some decorations. That way you don't spend that much.
