yea griese would work too i guess. we just need consistancy on that side of the ball. and we have good recievers berrian and bradley have graet speed and mushin is a good possesion reciever and we have very very good receiving te's in clark and olsen.

I think he'll go to Baltimore. Boller has never been the answer, and McNair is creaky.

Leftwich is not exactly the picture of consistency either. If you're frustrated with Rex, I'm not sure Byron will feel much better.

I'm kind of surprised the Bears haven't turned to Griese. He's a boring "game manager" but was a Pro Bowl QB in Denver with that mentality.

Like or or not, Rex will live or die this year, and the Bears will have to plan on a free agent QB, or rebuild.

I'd hate to see them waste that defense. Urlacher and the boys aren't getting any younger.

Why Leftwich is prone to injury. Why not see if Jake Plummer will come out of retirement. A deal would have to be worked out with Tampa but Griese is not bad either.

The smartest thing I have read is for Bears to try to get Jake Plummer out of retirement. I think Rex is terrible and they need to look for a RB as Ced Benson is a bust...reminds me of Curtis Enis and Rashaam Salaam. I didnt understand the move to get rid of Thomas Jones for a fourth round pick and we have the wrong Adrian Peterson. LOL

The Bears have enough problems at QB. Why would they want Leftwich? I don't think Leftwich gets a job until some team gets really desperate.

The Ravens don't need him. Boller looked great yesterday. If they would have had decent play calling they probably would have won that game. I think Left which would fit right in with the bears, and Atlanta could use him too. Oh yea the Lions would sign him if he was WR.

Baltimore had an interest in drafting Byron in the draft when he was in it but Jacksonville snagged him before Baltimore's pick and now Baltimore is thinking of signing Leftwich because they still want him.

id give griese a chance, leftwich will likely want more money than him anyway. i can see leftwich going to either minnesota atlanta or baltimore.

For what posistion? He could probably play any position better on offense than anyone that the bears have.

They should but they won't
Smith thinks he can win with "Gross"man and in a few years they both will be gone
Smith for sticking with "Gross"man and
"Gross"man for not winning games
they way they loked other than defense Applachian St could of beaten them

no, id rather see griese. but truthfully, what receivers do we have that you would consider a threat? its gonna be a loooong season. our defense can only carry the offense so long.
