For the people who said that believing Africans were common ancestors does not imply racism... Uh, yes, it does. The basic premise of evolution is that the common ancestors and earlier people/animals were less evolved - more primitive, less intelligent - just bad.
So racism has a large foundation in the theory of evolution. If you will read some of Darwin's writings, that is easy to see. In old biology books, the races of people used to be described by which is more "superior." Racism and even some sexism stems not solely from these beliefs, but in all sense of the theory of evolution, if you believed it all, you would reasonably believe Africans/blacks are less evolved, therefore less superior, and you would have a basis for sexism as well.
I do note that some people think its a compliment to say everyone came from Africa... is it generally a compliment to say everyone came from an ape? How about a single cell? I don't think so... It just says black people are less evolved.
The theory of evolution is used for a lot of weird and bad things. Darwin and others who knew him suggested different scientific names for men and women because women are so different. Of course, its used to justify racism. I even read someone claiming women are more evolved than men. It is used to athenticate atheist philosophical beliefs... one evolutionist went so far as to tell us what human's purpose in life are! (As I remember, he said, something like: the purpose of a living creature is to live, compete, and reproduce against the odds... Nice purpose of life, huh?)
To sum it up... I don't believe this junk, it's morally harmful to society, promoting superiority and atheist morals (or lack there of), and many intelligent people who research this do not believe in this. Good question, Sone!

are you able to're making your argument devoid of conversing approximately Black human beings? Why do you could prepare how great jap Europeans are via showing fights wherein they beat a Black boxer. whether you're actually not that makes you look racist. I understand jap Europeans went with the aid of stressful situations yet hasn't each team of people? look on the Jewish human beings, slaves to the Egyptians the Holocaust, antisemitic gangs going around destroying there holy places. I purely don't comprehend why you in many situations could point out Blacks whilst protecting jap Europeans. possibly you could clarify this to me. P.S. Persia is now Iran an Asian u . s . a ., Ottoman's Empire is now Turkey an Asian u . s . a ., Israel is in Asia. learn some geography and don't placed what a gaggle of international places on the factor of Africa did on Africans. EDIT: whats up my fault guy, the way you wrote it made it look you theory Israel, Iran and Turkey have been fairly in Africa. i'm particularly enormous on geography. Oh and don't hardship, my father woke me up this morning and we performed some ball on the close by park.

The first humans were black or African. If you do more research you'll find that what we now call the Middle East was once part of Africa, or Ethiopia back then.
Another point to remember is that biologically the African or black gene is the strongest & most dominant. All others are recessive. In order to populate the earth with many colors or races it would take more than natural habitat, genes would also have to play a role.
Also it has been documented, & fossils have proven that the oldest known human was of African origin, in fact M. Eastern people are of African origin themselves, afterall they CONQUERED Egypt, and were not native to Africa.
There are even some M. Eastern ppl that would be considered black. What is M. Eastern afterall?.....their skin color is generally a mixture of light & dark, but how can it be mixed if they were the 1st ppl on earth??????? There would have to be ppl here with darker skin to mate & procreate ppl with lighter skin.
It really makes no difference anyway seeing as how many M. Eastern ppl are darker if not the same color as many black ppl. In fact Herodotus himself stated that the only difference b/w the Africans & M. Eastern ppl were the quality of their hair.

I don't know where the 1st homonids developed, but logic would tell one that these 1st 'humans' were not homo sapiens.
The 1st homonids were Australopithecus-maybe 'he' walked out of Africa.
Homo sapiens were the LAST species to develope and this occurred in different parts of the world and relatively at about the same time. ALL of us now are h. sapiens, and therefore, in my opinion, the 1st 'humans' (which might have developed in Africa) could not have been *******, caucasoid, nor mongoloid. I dont' think it resembled any of these three.
I think it's a common misconception that ppl think if it began in Africa, that the 1st ppl were black like the blacks of today...
Wish I knew more...

Some of the oldest human fossils are found in the continent of africa, but many million years ago they may have looked much different, but probably did have dark pigmentation. If you recall history, the Egyptians were of dark complexion and there has been many arguments about this fact. Bear in mind also that african does not mean "black". Egyptians are "african", it's an entire continent.
While you have a valid question and have made some comments worth investigation, I am resigned to the fact that at this point in time, it really makes no difference who was first - it has not changed or made any of us wealthy with that information. I do enjoy reading and making sure that I am informed. I have recently been reading, "The History of Man" a book that goes way back to the beginning of time and explores mankind. One thing we do know -blacks came over on the Ships from Spain, and other countries as the 13 Colonies were being organized. They were also hauled over on ships as slaves. The best consolation that I have in all of this is - whoever my forefathers and parents were, whoever my ancestors were who came up from West Africa - they were mighty and they were strong because I am a product of their strength and life. They made it! Because I am here!

I believe in evolution. I accept the cradle of humanity was in Africa, the anthropological evidence bears that out. Humans evolved, they migrated. There is a common thread .... walk upright, meat eaters got protein for larger brains. It happened throughout the wanderings of humanity. Those that stayed in equatorial regions have darker skin. Those in the far north did not need that, maybe blue eyes were better for these areas. Millions of years, many changes in the genome, all happening simultaneously, gave birth to the differences we see today. As humans progressed, we tamed nature, were not so influenced by geography and climate. Humanity has blossomed as a whole, with different climates giving birth to different "races". Maybe we need an extraterrestrial invasion to have us come together.
Yayyyy Jamie!

I don't think that being considered the first civilization or people is bad or racist in any way.
Human beings evolved as they moved out of Africa to suit their environment, that doesn't mean in any way they became superior to the original race back in Africa. In the mean time the African race has been evolving all along.

there is no proof of the first human being's location. it's just speculation based on a skeletal finding dating back millions of years that the first human originated from africa. the first, believed, civilization did come from the middle east. remember this is based on findings.
I believe this computer, sitting right in front of me, can help me communicate with people from all over the world.

Why do ppl address the middle east like it's not Africa??? That's laughable. Change the name and all of a sudden their history is null? Life started in Africa. The Garden of Eden. That's why it was raped and stolen, and it's people lied on.

There's no doubt that the "first" humans would have had darker skin.
Mankind originated in an area of the world where darker skin would be needed to survive the exposure to sunlight as more skin pigment = less chance of UV damage to anything under your skin.
White skin is an adaption to less sunlight as darker skin would limit the creation of vitamin D (which is created in the skin whilst exposed to UVb rays).
And no, it wouldn't require "belief" in macroevolution as changes in skin colour are a minor adaption. There's no difference in species besides different genotypes. That's like saying an Irish wolf hound and a pit bull terrier must be different species as they are developed differently when they obviously aren't.
