Does it give them a feeling of greater empowerment, or for a sweeter revenge ?

Besides, there are other effective targets like the eyes, throat, kneecap, and instep.

I personally think it's especially vicious and unfair, and it shouldn't be taught to any girl !!!

Like Leonard S said...it's not about fair. If you don't intend to put someone down for the big sleep, you don't need to be fighting. In a self defense situation you need to worry about yourself and expect that they mean the same to you, so cheat to win. If the groin is their weakness, the groin it is, but I'm also a fan of the eye gouge based on availability of options. Now if it was a male of any other species, choke the filthy bugger on your fist. They might gnaw/maul you a lil bit before you get your fingers on their tongue, but you'll stop em so long as it's not a biggun like a bear!

Yeah, they ought to realize that guys always protect that area and learn that if you gain control of a guy's wrist, you can disable him with very little strength by applying the right pressure.

On the other hand, I think girls should be taught any method necessary to defend themselves against a guy trying to overpower them... which you must admit isn't fair either. That's kind of the point. If you attack, any pain is fair game.

But it should ONLY be used in real defense, not to hurt a guy for fun. That's totally immoral.

Not particularly. I've kicked quite a few guys there in my younger days and got no reaction so I gave up on the groin. Now I go for the sciatic nerve, below the ear, the sternum, and the nose.

Countless females throughout history have saved themselves from attack by exploiting this particular weakness in a guy.

That a girl's knee can strike his weak spot, and cause him to:

doubleover
fall to the ground
curl up into a fetal position
moan and groan ( "my b*lls, my b*lls") in incapacitating pain

and all the while clutching his bruised bits is an incredible disadvantage for him - but a gratifying, welcome, and empowering advantage for her !!!

It gives us time to skedaddle to safety !

if a girl is being attacked by a guy than the groin is a perfect area.. I mean they should only do it if it is completely necessary. but if they are in danger that is the one thing that they can hit and know its going to hurt them

Well, under the right circumstances (i.e., being attacked) it is the easiest and most painful place to hit a guy. Other than that, I agree, it it really mean to do.

Hello, it's self defense, not just for fun. Guys are stronger than girls and if they are in danger they're gonna getcha where it hurts.
