The attendance numbers are clearly detailed above so I'll go to unique.
Been to 14 of 30 venues in the league and have to say the long V-shaped bars at Nationwide Arena in Columbus offered the opportunity to head up for a drink/food and never miss the game. They have long open areas that allow you to see the game while waiting in line. American Airlines in Dallas has a lot of very ornate brickwork and glass incorporated in the design. MSG is, well, MSG, a great place for any event. Probably ranks as my most unique NHL hockey arena (and NYC is a really fun place to go to period). The rest I've been to have been more or less cookie cutter arenas or really old (like Nassau or Pittsburgh).

Montreal's Bell Center holds 21,273 people and is the largest in the NHL.
Atlanta's has a new revolutionary design to put as many seats as close to the ice as possible.

Molson/Bell Centre in Montreal holds the most: 21,631
Unique? I love the ACC and the Corel Centre. Joe Loius has the most character and history.
