Well I'm a conservative, to begin with. Ever since I read Thomas Moore's Utopia idea I thought about the similarities it had with libralism, after reading Animal Farm and 1984 I saw even more similarities with the flawed Utopian idea.

So I just started public school again this year, and I noticed all the "libralism" in it. Teachers were telling me how to live, instead of teaching making us students getting in touch with our personal feelings, (Which was severly pointless, by the way) telling us what is right and what is wrong. (they told me the only good emotions were happiness and love, seriously)

Overall, it seems they are trying to seize control of my life and trying to run it like socialistic SOBs.

Is it just me? Any other conservatives noticing what I am?

No. You are very observant. Liberalism is pervasive in colleges and universities. Professors train school teachers, who in turn try to indoctrinate you.
Listen to conservative talks shows on the radio. They will help you to prevent liberals from turning your brain into mush.

Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity have web sites were you can listen to their programs if they are on the air while you are in school.

As far as I'm concerned you've completely missed the point of Orwell's 1984. It's not a condemnation of liberalism, but a cautionary tale about what happens when people are controlled by a totalitarian regime- whether that regime promotes an ideology that's left of center or right of center is neither here nor there. Whereas communist regimes like the former USSR, its satellite countries, China, and of course modern-day North Korea show the excesses of totalitarian regimes of the left, fascist regimes, such as but not limited to Hitler's Germany, Mussolini's Italy, or Franco's Spain demonstrate that equally horrific excesses occurred in ultra-conservative societies as well. All that's required to see this is a bit of objective analysis.

No, it's not just you. My husband and I have been noticing this for years. We only have two more years of public school with our children and I'll be so glad when they are out. The freedom of teaching has been taken away from teachers and they are forced to teach the "State" way. It seems the state wants to tell us how to raise our children and everything else.

america is like everywhere else that has the two properly-meaning leaders and the skill-hungry leaders. The inhabitants itself reflects the comparable element. maximum international powers in history at last have been revoked a approach or the different. skill is a mysterious element to me, and that i've got confidence that that's utilized extremely or abused, that's normally interior the attention of the beholder. the two are taking place at this place in time.

Nah, dont let anyone tell you youre to paranoid. Paranoid is if you dont go out of your house due to beign scared of all the liberalism. Youre just aware of how the government tries to control you in aspects you never though of before. Its totally true anyways, theyre not trying to control you, moreso they want you to fit the mold. If you grow up this way never questioning it, it seems regular to you, something that people should be doing, so youll just go with it. Its not so much controlling you as it is shutting you up, or keeping you dumb. But yeah they are also in a way trying to control you. But I agree with you, its all ridiculous, looking into all of these things will make you hate society. Lighten up a bit but, continue to be aware of whats going on and dont fall for their sh.it anymore. Good luck! :]
