Yes, I have no purpose, there is no purpose, and therefore I am free to do what I want. And yet, I don't often do what I want. I suppose that that is what time will show me how to do.
We are both still young, and our calling will come sooner than later. Yes... I am sure.

Unless there is a God who created us, there cannot be any purpose for us to be on this earth. Natural processes such as evolution do not have purpose and cannot give purpose. A snowstorm "creates" a snowflake but neither the snowstorm nor the snowflake has any purpose.
Without God, all we do is to search for something to do in life that makes us feel good about ourselves and/or that makes us forget that we have no purpose and no meaning. Making ourselves "forget" important truths is self delusion. Perhaps you're not good at self delusion.
But if we admit that God might exist, then we can see that He must have put our great need for purpose into our human nature in order to get us to seek Him. Nothing else but knowing our Creator will ever satisfy us.

I don't think I believe in having a purpose in life. At this point, i'm so open to all things that i'm not sure what I believe, but i've never really warmed up to the idea.
I don't really hang around too long.
