I have Drew Brees on the road against Tampa Bay...or
Jake Delhomme at home against Houston.

I started Brees last week and got killed. I am worried how he will do against Tampa, but it's also unlikely that he will have 2 bad games in a row. Delhomme had a great game against the Rams, and I would think he would do even better against Houston. Of course the guy I start will have a bad game and the bench guy will tear the house down. Who would you start? and why?

Brees had one of his biggest games on the road in Tampa late last season. He also blew chunks against them at home.

I too agree that he's likely to rebound from the thumping they took.

You can also bet that Mr. Reggie Bush will have received a lesson on "stop-farting-around-with-the-ball-no-razzle-dazzle-and-just-run" from the coaching staff. When he's right, the offense should be electric.

I think Indy just threw them off their gameplan, and are a better defense than people think.

Houston's secondary is suspect, but their pass-rush has improved a ton. Delhomme has a habit of getting rattled.

Brees is the poised veteran, looking for a rebound. I'm playing him this week.

I would start Brees against Tampa Bay.

According to Michael Fabiano, nfl.com's resident fantasy expert, Brees posted 485 yards and four touchdowns with 111.4 passer rating in two starts against the Buccaneers last season.

Delhomme did put up 3 TDs against the Rams. But, consider that Houston only gave up 3 points to an admittedly poor Kansas City offense.

Brees has the better match-up and will be looking to break out after a poor performance to a suprisingly strong Indianapolis defense.

You should start Jake Delhomme because his passer rating is 125.7, 201 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Drew brees had 192 yards which is good, but no touchdowns and 2 interceptions, I know it was the colts but still your not going against the offense your going against the defence. Jake will be a better choice because he averages what he played last week, Drew Brees doesnt average a great game, and his passer rating was a staggering 26 points below the league average.

Start Brees. Even on the road, he always puts up good numbers all against division opponents, and even better numbers against the Bucs.
