We cannot vote for surrender, because that sends a message to the terrorists they can do whatever they want. We have one 9/11 already. One more attack is one too many.

What dishonors the troops is pitifully short sighted foreign policy. Having a president that believes that America's blood sacrifices can result in sectarian unity in Iraq.

The troops don't make foreign policy, no one asked them if the U.S. should invade Iraq. They are honorable men and women charged with completing their mission.

What? "dishonoring our soldiers?" If keeping our brave soldiers in harms way in a unwinnable civil war fought over control of oil for American companies is not "dishonoring our soldiers", I'll eat my hat. Before you start slinging mud at me, I served 6 years in the military, am a life member of the VFW, and my son is in Kuwait. Surge, my a$$.

No Democrat has dishonored our troops, no way, not ever! It isn't the troops they are yammering about, it's the man that sent them there & insists on keeping them there for the foreseeable future! Their focus is on bringing them home in a timely fashion! If you don't want that; what is your problem? The 2nd W.W. was over in less time than we have been in Iraq! One of our greatest Presidents, FDR, was a Democrat, please don't try to tell me that he ever dishonored our troops!

The problem seems to be that the left just isn't equipped to handle dissenting viewpoints. General Petraeus preferred to report the facts and seeing that the facts didn't support the views of the loopy left, they immediately attack the messenger. It's nothing new, and it's becoming quite tiresome.

How come nobody's reporting on the fact that the New York Times gave moveon a discount on the ad?

Oh my, you are clearly more of a patriot than I am.

So, when are you signing up to serve? I mean, we the people need more men and women to go support our troops as they are sacrificed for our president's botched plan to control the majority of the world's oil.

Oh and by the way, I did my time in the Army National Guard in the early 1990's.

Republicans dishonored General Anthony Zinni, General, Charles Swannack, Major General John Batiste, Marine Corps Lieutenant General Gregory Newbold, and Army Major General Paul Eaton by calling them traitors.
I believe it was Rumsfeld who dishonored the troops when he said "you go to war with the Army you have". It was the Republicans who dishonored the troops when they mocked the Purple Heart at the GOP convention in 2004.

Again with the sclerotic rhetoric of, "America armed Saddam."

Or, "America armed the mujaheddin."

Perhaps a glance at the militaristic influence of geopolitics would help better explain why such things occurred.

This endless prattle from the left is frustrating because many of them possess remarkable intellect.

I find it sickening how the Dems act so sanctimonious in regard to the war and the troops.

Not nearly as disgusted as I was when president Bush did away with their overtime pay when he sent our men and women to fight in Iraq.

How aggravated are you about soldiers dishonoring democrats for trying to keep them from getting killed for nothing?
