Ninjaaa and Evelyn are correct, your fish will be fine without food for a week or more as long as it is a healthy fish. The vacation feeders tend to foul up the water quickly and if the fish overeats it can cause problems such as swim bladder disease, constipation or fin rot. Simple do your water change before you leave and feed him his regular amount of food. No need to feed extra.

There are vacation feeders sold at most pet stores, but these usually don't work and end up fouling your water instead. You don't want to end up coming back to a fish sick from dirty water...
Bettas can actually go for a week without food, completely unharmed. I know it sounds cruel, but he will really be fine. Just feed him a regular amount (don't overfeed to "compensate"; it doesn't work that way) before you go, and do a water change. Keep a lid on his tank to keep him from jumping out while you're gone (make sure to leave room for airflow so he can breathe.)

I would think so but I've only seen them for tropical fish and goldfish otherwise you could buy a cheap little auto matic feeder but make sure it has enough feeding slots to acomidate to two feedings a day for the amount of time you'll be gone. other wise you could ask a resonsible friend to fishysit

don't use these vacation block feeders, they will only pollute your tank
Personally i would do a regular waterchange and feed him just before you leave and don't feed him at all in the time you're gone
but if you really want to use something, get an autmatic feeder, but test it before you leave
Hope that helps
Good luck

If you are gone for just a week, your betta should be fine going without food for a week. If it is longer, see if someone can stop over just once or twice to feed him, he doesn't need a lot of food. If neither of these are possible, you can buy one of those automatic feeders, but make sure you load it with a little less food per day than you normally feed him to avoid waste of uneated food which will foul your tank.

Don't worry! I have a betta myself. If you are really worried about it, just feed the fish a generous amount before you leave and immediately when you come home. It should be fine!

you can get an electric feeder at walmart -- it turns around like a ferris wheel and dumps food in for your fish.
