I think it's stereotypical that the society I've dealt with condemned women from having strong sexual desires.

Nothing wrong with that at all. The only problem with enjoying anything (or having a strong desire) is only IF it turns into an addiction. Otherwise I think it is wonderful to enjoy sex. I find many artistic people are much more sensual than the rest of us. It is just part of some peopel's make-up.
Personally I enjoy sex but do not believe I am hypersexual.

It's society's double standard that men should have a strong sex drive and women shouldn't. In reality, though, sex drive is controlled by hormones, and some people naturally have more or less than others. There's nothing 'wrong' with that. In fact, from a natural point of view, it's a benefit. Those with an elevated sex drive from others of their species have more chances to procreate, and therefore, more chances to pass on their genetic code to future generations, surviving evolution.
This society, like most (but not all), has confused sexuality with morality. Morality actually lies in how you treat others, society, and your environment.

No , there is nothing wrong with you . As long as you are monogamous you are fine in my book . You will keep a husband at home with that kind of drive . Too many wives have NO drive and the husband's eyes will wander . I thank God for my wife , who is everything I could ask for .

Lucky you! I have a toddler and run a business and just don't have the time or energy to enjoy sex anymore. I envy you!!!
