THE MAN IN QUESTION IS 43 YRS. OLD. DO YOU THINK HIS RELIGION MIGHT BE A REASON WHY HE'S NOT INTERESTED IN BEING SEXUALLY ACTIVE? I KNOW MEN IN THEIR 70'S WHO HAVE HIGH SEX DRIVES.

It depends on many things. How is his self esteem? Has he ever been interested in sex before. Church upbringing definately plays a big role with what he considers acceptable behavior. Maybe he's tired of having society and TV tell him how he should feel about sex.
Have things changed around the home, children, work, has your appearance changed. Gaining a lot of wieght. Just wondering. I haven't been interested in sex for the past 5 years either for whatever reason. Sometimes it's just too complicated. (42 y/o married man) 4 kids

You know if he is a Christian man, he may believe it is wrong to have sex outside of marriage. He may have a healthy sex drive but does not indulge because he thinks it is wrong.

Many people say that we Christians condemn others (and some do) but I don't. I find that some people condemn Christians for sticking to their beliefs. I enjoy sex as much as the next person but I wait until I am in a relationship. As good as the "friends with benefits" thing sounds, I do not think it is right for me.

no, it is wrong, many saints are exception to this. some normal man also r uninterested in having sex. but the percentage is nominal, so u can say that most of people(both sex) like sex as it is a natural phenomena and it is not in the hand of man or women, but u preferably say that particular persons due to some reason or illness or situation may left the sex from his/her mind for sometime, so it is true to say that any person(man/women) have left it for always.

I don't think it is common, but it must be in the range of what is normal for humans, given that the range is so broad.

But in particular cases it could be the result of psychological or physical factors unique to the person. If it were my male friend or a family member (excuse the pun), I'd have him checked out just to be sure that there was nothing that could be of long-term harm to him.

it's not common, maybe he's had his fill and is looking for a more important emotional connection.

maybe someone's not turning him on and it feels like sex is a chore, or a punishment that he has to fulfill in order to maintain a relationship?

a guy can get bored of the same thing all the time.
