i'm breeding desert horned lizards i just bought my desert horned lizard a mate, so he could have babies but my old desert horned lizard is biting my new desert horned lizard. What do i do?

Yes it was biting her on the back of the neck, well not exactly it was biting her cranial spines.

How is he biting it? Aggressive biting, like if he's trying to rip its leg off, is territorial. If this is the case, I would make sure your female is not a male. Biting on the back of the neck is normal. Many male lizards, and some snakes, will bite the female on the back of the neck to hold her in place while he tries to mate.
