I have never even SEEN a mole until now. I'm catching three a day in my humane trap in the kitchen. Is there a repellant for these things? Please don't tell me to poison them or kill them, I won't do it, so don't waste your time. Any info on them would be appreciated, mostly involving a repellant idea. Someone told me lemon juice because they hate the smell? Thanks. Serious answers only, please. (they're really cute little fellas!)

Yes, I've looked them up. When we caught the first one, my husband called me out to show me that it wasn't a mouse...it is definitely a little mole. No eyes. Everyone is puzzled, including me, why they'd keep coming in the house! We've already stuffed the holes. Tonight I've taped the door cracks to see if they still get in. (or we'd see the tape moved or chewed at least) and go from there. I'm so completely stumped! FIVE today. I've taken them all around to release them, not close to the house. Still they come. GRRRRRR!!!!!

I'm unsure what area you live in, but in our area there is company called "Critter Control." They take care of all pest problems in a humane way. Find a similar company in your area and make sure they treat them in a humane way.

Stuff any gaps you can find with steel wool, then seal it over with caulk. That should keep more from getting in, and you should be able to capture those already in and get them out.

Though I, like at least one other responder, am puzzled about what moles are doing in the house in the first place.

It's my bet that you have mice, not moles and you need to get used to the idea of killing them. They carry all kinds of disease. They will chew into food packages, chew wiring causing a fire hazard and on and on. Moles eat grubs found only outside.

It doesn't make sense for moles to enter a house. They eat earthworms and grubs, neither of which is found indoors. Are you sure they are moles ?

If you have never seen a mole befoe are you sure that is what they are? Moles are blind, and it seems strange they would appear in a house. Look on Google; images; Moles and be sure that is what you have.
