How do you cool off after yard work on a really hot day since we do not have a pool my husband and I go in the back yard in our birthday suits and hose each other down, that really feels great and you do what???

I'd think that would work pretty well..

are there houses near you guys for sale? maybe we should all move closer to you so we could check that out! :-)

I always do the same as you guys - birthday suit and a hose. Maybe we need to start an association for this sort of thing. LOL

Sounds like fun! Actually I hose down myself.....while still dressed. If I had someone to share the fun with......I'd be up for some fun in the buff.

Can't fault your method. Must be amusing for the neighbors.
Water is always the best way to cool off. Whether you are dowsing yourselves with it or drinking it. Drink plenty of water, stay away from salty or sugary drinks, they only make you feel more thirsty. Stay away from alcohol, it actually dehydrates you! Water is your best bet, shower in it , then drink plenty of it.

I've got one of those shaved ice / snow cone makers you can pick up (in season) at places like Wal-Mart. I shave down about 20-24 ice-cubes, mix the snow cone syrup in, and enjoy.
