Do these people think Bush set up a deal with Bin Laden to have him put out videos commemorating the terrorists who died on 9/11? I don't understand that. You really think Bin Laden who was well known to be a terrorist before 9/11 would agree to do something like that with Bush? Yeah like someone who hates the west and America would help out the president with his plan, give me a break. Why would he put out these videos if it wasn't a planned terrorist event?

I've come to the conclusion that the conspiracy theorists over 9/11 are a Coke short of a Happy Meal. I don't take anyone's word for that crap. I spent a great deal of time researching all their claims. In each case I found solid details that explained away every one of their claims to my satisfaction. I've also seen people give them these details - which they ignore of course. Some folks love conspiracy theories so much that the rush of thinking there is one is stronger than the desire to know the real truth - especially when the truth isn't as titillating as the conspiracy theory itself.

Some think that Clinton is behind this. I don't think so. Just because Clinton could have got Bin Laden long ago does not mean he had anything to do with 9-11. This was an act of terror. I just seen on CNN the very clear videos of the plane going into the towers. They release the closeups. It's very clear what happened.

Um...Bush has been connected to the Bin Laden family and is in bed with the Saudis. (see attachments)

Not saying I believe in any conspiracy, but to play devil's advocate, your assertion that Bin Laden would never help Bush is potentially false.

As a 'conspiracy boy' I think I can answer that question.

I'm not a big believer in 9-11 conpiracies, but I love reading conspiracy theories in general.

The 'mainstream' theorists believe that Bush KNEW about the attacks, in a general way. That is, he knew that the terrorists were active, and even though he didn't know what they were planning, he decided to ignore the threat of violence in hopes that something 'bad' would happen. A peace-time president has a MUCH higher likelyhood of being a one term president (as Bush's father found out...), so Bush was eager for an offensive strike of ANY type against the U.S.

More 'dedicated' theorists insist that Bush knew exactly what was going to happen, and when it would happen. He decided not to act because he stood to gain much power and influence if these attacks were perpetrated.

As for what I believe...I follow the money. And the money says...some one knew what was going to happen. This was a well-executed mission. Americans act like the 'war on terror' is a new thing. It's not. We have had intelligence operatives feeding us information on a regular basis since the inception of the CIA and Mossad. It is inconcievable that our intelligence community didn't have some sort of fore warning.

Look at 'Google Earth'. We, as civilians, have the power to get a picture of our HOUSE from space. Think of the techknowledgy the military must have.

9-11 defined Bush's presidency. It's given him more power than ANY president before him. His 'buddies' are getting rich from the war in Iraq, and NO W.M.D.'S were ever found. Why did he lie about the weapons of mass destruction if he is such an upstanding person?

Politicians are only out to increase the wealth and power of themselves and their 'buddies'. Check out this article, and ask yourself who 'lost' in the attack of 9-11, and who 'won'? The terrorists are running scared and Bush is more powerful than ever. It seems to me that this attack couldn't have happened at a better time for Bush....

"It is not a lack of intelligence in terms of what a person KNOWS or inability to understand the evidence, it is a matter of BLOCKING OUT all evidence which threatens the predetermined belief?" Absolutely. I have read many personal descriptions of something from ex-members of one particular cult (a cult which I had way too much first-hand experience with). They described it as "thought-stop". If you are with friends or family and they are challenging your belief or your trust in the cult, suddenly you find yourself standing up, quoting bible verses at top volume, and storming out of the house. They called it "thought-stop" because the brain literally shut down and this was almost an automatic, uncontrollable response. It's a little chilling that these amateur manipulators could so successfully program their members that way. @Rey: "And you mean the HUNDREDS of Experts and Professionals on Demolitations, Laws of Physics, Architects, and Scientist THAT JUST TORE APART THE 9/11 COMISSION REPORT!!!" Actually I've usually seen that on closer inspection those "experts and professionals" turn out to not be members of the professions they claim. And certainly not "experts".

Bin Laden was funded by and did work for Regan. It is well known that he was heavily involved with the CIA. The videos are released to rile up the people of the U.S. and gain support for the "war on terror" that Bush is losing.

The people who hate George Bush have the ability to call him a completely incompetent idiot in one breath, and in the next breath give him indescernable power over everything bad that happens on the planet...to include global warming.

I don't know how an idiot can be so effective in destroying the mood of liberals.

I'd vote for him again, given the chance...just to keep em' down for another 4 years.

Bin Laden is insane. He has been rendered so ineffective that it took him three years to get his video out to the public.
