I was eating breakfast watching the news with Brian Gumbel saying that a plane had been possibly hijacked then it went into the building. I then took the day off work and saw the horror.

I was just about to work. I remember hearing on the radio that someone had flown a plane into the world trade center. I remember thinking "idiot" and kinda chuckled about it. I though it was just a little single engine that really wouldn't have hurt too many people. Once I got to work, I heard everyone talking about a much larger plane, and that the other tower had just been hit as well. I worked in a grocery store at the time. That was the slowest day I have ever seen. We had probably no more than 10 customers all day. Everyone was glued to the tv. I will never forget the way everything looked when I finally got to a tv on my lunch break.

In my bed at home in Nevada. One of our daughters clled from Ohio to tell us to turn on the TV. After the plane hit the Pentagon I prayed that two people I knew on that plane were safe. I was wrong. They died, probably on impact.

I was sitting in my elementary school class with all my friends. I was in the 5th grade. I'm now 16 years old and I remember the day very vividly.
