By law can one assume you mean pertaining to humans as in "thats the law "...if so then as far as I am concerned the law has only a negative effect in my life , it only ever restrains or puts one down , never up lifting or enhancing me , it is like a all in encompassing gray cloud over the Earth
To be free of "the law" would be a wonderful thing

I thought it was the "law of nature," but I could be wrong, since I am neither a student of philosophy nor the law.

"law" is a man made idea, which can have many meaning depending on how you use it. it can keep peace and order, and at the same time it can cause chaos. its "nature?" i guess it depends on its purpose.
