Why do people nowadays feel the need to be so gosh darn lazy with their writing? Using words like "da" and "dis" makes you sound really unintelligent, and takes away from what might have otherwise been an intelligent remark! Why can't people just type the proper words?

i've been wondering this for quite some time, myself. i suppose it's just to go along with the latest trend in speech.

Ah so many people say "loose" when they mean "lose" in the diet and fitness section. Aside from the really young kids, I think like most of this generation, they are just lazy. They want to type quickly and submit the answer. I mean, most people don't even put their hats on properly or let their pants hang down to their knees.

In the world of texting and IMing today, people want to get messages written faster. They take any shortcut possible to get it done as soon as possible. It then becomes a habit, and they do it on the rest of the internet, where it might not be appreciated.

The same reason lazy people write: idk, lol, wut, wat, etc. It is the age of texting, and that's what language lazy people use.
