This will give away my age....... Rolling Stones...tix were 3,4 and 5 dollars. It was the best...they were just starting out, Brian was still with them. It was so unbelievably exciting for me, I can't even describe it.

It was Casey Jones and the Governors , great show and I was very excited to hear the beat live for the first time . The second time was even better , it was The Kinks !(1965)
My first gig as a singer was in a wee youth club in Germany and I was soooo nervous , but it went well (that was in 1968) .

I have been to four Status Quo gigs and one Wishbone Ash, gig and I've also seen and met - both, Del Shannon and Johnny Tillotson when they played live concerts at Romeo & Juliets in Hull, in the early seventies, absolutely fabulous .!!..xx

The only concerts I've been to were a Christian rock band called Triumph in the 80s and I thought they were brilliant, I even persuaded a friend to loan me a fiver so I could buy their tape.

Then there was The Continentals .... How to describe their style ..... Errm .... 'If we sing hard enough and high enough we can hover ourselves to Heaven'.

I saw The Who at my local pavilion in Bath in the 60s - and I still had to make the last bus home by 10.30 because I had school the following morning, - they were the first group I saw.
