How can I get a girl to go out with me to homecoming?

I'm a freshman and I really don't know anything. How can I get a girl to go with me and how should I dress?

well this is more easy then you would think.
don't be scared or nervous to ask a girl, and if you get rejected, don't worry about it, just try try again!

first, you should try talking to a girl A LOT, girls need to feel comfortable with you, i mean they don't want to go to a dance with a total stranger.
try asking someone you sit next to in class or something.

i went with a friend to homecoming.
oh and you can wear a really nice shirt and tie, and some black or tan pants.
or you can wear a tux.
don't forget to get your date a flower.
(corsage--however you spell it)
DON'T FORGET THE FLOWER SHOULD MATCH HER DRESS COLOR, AND YOU SHOULD ACCENT YOUR TUX WITH HER DRESS COLOR!
if you don't know her dress color go with white.

You might want to ask her, but first get to know her a bit, because it will be very akward if u go to homecoming and u have nothing to talk about!!! So get to know her, find out what she likes, so that it'll be interesting, then pop the question: Hey would you like to go to homecoming with me? You should dress appropriately dont go baggy and all torn up. maybe u might have a themed homecoming so u should wait a bit, but usually formal dressing is a classic. Good luck!!! :)

Just ask her out, if you get rejected so what? Pick up your ego and try again with someone else. Just because you're a frshman, doesn't mean you have to act like it, lol. Don't ask a random stranger or someone you've spoken to once in your life, ask your guy friends what they're wearing and don't over dramatize the homecoming.. she won't run off and leave you with a stiletto, k? ask her at the end of the day and if she says yes later find out the color of her dress n wear black shoes n suit with white shirt under and a tie the color of her dress.
