Now I know, that Militarily, Russia is no match for the United States head to head via conventional weapons (nuclear bombs withstanding), however like in the Cold War, Russia could arm rogue nations antagonistic to the U.S., thus creating a bigger headache and threat for the U.S. Military.

Today it was written that Russia tested the ‘Dad of all bombs’, which is suppose to be more powerful than any non-nuclear conventional weapon the U.S. Military has.

I see your point Nora. The concern is, that while America focuses on the Middle East and terror, we might lose the bigger picture of what hands are being played across the globe.

The US has gotten proficient enough at arming 'rogue nations' (and then failing to take them out) that there's no need to bring up a 'red scare' about Russia.
