For class, we read a poem that had a bunch of similies which we had to copy down. I had a question about one simile. The drections are to circle the two nouns that are being compared, so, what do I cicle for this one?
The willow's music is like a soprono.
Do I circle willow's music and soprono, or just willow's and soprono?

music and soprono. Circling willow's music would be circling both an adjective and a noun. So you only need to circle the nouns music and Soprono.

willow's music and soprono! im a ninth grade english major...and the word willow's is an adjective modifying music! you are supposed to include those as well!

Look,i've done this before,circle willow's music and soprano.Ask yourself "what is being compared to what?" The willow's music is being compared to soprano.

Right - it's the soprano. Willow's is a modifier. You would circle music and soprano.

I'm in 11th grade-that means junior--wich means 11th grade english

I would say Willow's and music

because noun meas person place or thing and an adjective describes that

so..
The willow's music is like a soprono
