Paul Dubois (July 18, 1829 - 1905) was a significant French sculptor and painter.
A Florentine Singer (Le Chanteur Florentine) of the Fifteenth Century (depicted in doublet and hose playing a lute), was one of the most popular statuettes in Europe. A plaster model of the well-known "Chanteur Florentin" was exhibited in 1865.

There is a "patinated bronze figure: Le Chanteur Florentin, cast after a model by Paul Dubois, Frederic Barbedienne (est. $3/5,000)" coming up in the fall at Bonhams Auction. The only reference I found to any plaster rendition of the sculpture is the aforementioned (with no dimensions ) and none at all for porcelain. The Musee D'Orsay says of the sculpture: "(It) was sold in various sizes by the great firm of Barbedienne for nearly a century. My suggestion, as this is such a well documented piece, is to call a reputable fine arts appraiser or fine auction house for more information. I hope that this helped. Good luck!

Many popular art works are later turned into household items. Go to any Museum in USA and see the coffee mugs and scraves etc with Van Gogh or Renior images on them. If it is a lamp and the artist was known to have made lamps then it probably was a highly popular item for its time. It may be worth something but off hand I wouldnt know.

Paul did not reject the actual international. He did not meet Jesus in guy or woman before he died, yet he did meet Jesus after his resurrection, that's why it sounds as though to you that he 'renounced any understanding of Jesus by way of human supplies'. He grew to become into in simple terms being straightforward approximately how he met him. As for issues seen and unseen, Paul isn't rejected this existence (he has plenty to declare approximately it), yet he's refuting the thought this existence is all there is. This existence must be seen interior the mild of our eternal destiny, and that's whilst issues are going to be appropriate and performed (extremely than in this existence). yet Paul rejected any thoughts that the actual international did not rely. His writings are crammed together with his arguments against that concept. So needless to say Paul might have general the strolling, speaking, actual existence Jesus. it extremely is the Jesus he preached.
