The restaurant closed permanently at the end of August. Apparently fans of the restaurant flew in specifically for the purpose of dining there one last time before they closed their doors forever.

No...sources say they did all their own ordering, rather than the Disney food buyers...

Whenever you go to Disney property it isn't so much what you see as it is the company you have with you. So that when you're Soaring, you're with people with whom you have good times. :)

I used to love this restaurant when I worked there as a cast member in 2001. But when my husband returned to dine there in June of 2006, we were very dissapointed. It seemd they had changed their fettucini alfredo recipe and our server dissapeared the moment we didn't order wine. So I'm excited to see the new restaurant coming soon! :)

Oh yes, I loved that restaurant and their Italian Margaritas especially. I also always got such a kick out of the wait staff. They were always so friendly and talkative. I can't wait to see what restaurant takes its place.

I was never very impressed with their service or food for that matter. I am excited to experience the "new" italian restaurant that is making its home there in the coming months.
