in pokemon crater how do you get leginds with out trading

actually i'm pretty sure you have to defeat all of the gym leaders first, or at least thats how it used to be.
or maybe you just have to defeat one regions gym leaders.

Just randomly go to different places on the map and you'll find one. My sister has an Arceus and Mewtwo and it didn't take her that long to find them.
