I've been trying to figure this one out for a LOOOOOONG time now! There's an oldies song that I THINK the lyrics have somewhere in them something like this:

"Oh no you can't get up, if you can't get down, A-BIP-BOP-BIP-BOP-GET AROUND"

Or something like that... It kinda sounds like "Devil With a Blue Dress On" in style. My parents and I can only remember that very line, and that line is probably wrong, but we KNOW it is a real song and we can SING that line! I've searched and searched, but can't find it! It's been driving us nuts for months! Please help!

Thanks!

This song was in my head ALL night long & I just called my sister in Ohio & she told me the song is "You Can't Sit Down" & it's sung by the Dovells. How could I forget that group/song? They also had the hit song, "Bristol Stomp" many years ago. Remember that one?
