If it's just $100 and not in a wallet and I didn't see anyone drop it, then I would put it in my pocket and consider it a very nice day.
If I found $100 on the floor in a customer area at work then I would sit on it for a day or two in case someone came asking if anyone found the money and return it. If it wasn't claimed in a day or two then I would keep it.
If I found the money along with some kind of ID, then I would probably turn it into the police.

If I could not find the person who it belongs to keep it. Now if I found it in a store I'll Give it to a manager with a witness let say another employee and then follow up on what was done with it. If it's a big franchise I'll will call the corporate office to follow up what was done with it.

Since the $100 did not belong to me, I would probably sent it to some charity.. I know I would... I did that when it did happen once.. not $100 but close enough.

look around to see if anyone dropped it. Then since Im in SAC, Ca. Id drive over the mountain to RENO and lay it on the craps table and shoot the dice till I won Big or lost nothing! being it was all free money.

Well depends on how long ago you found it. Byu now the owner probably is suspecting some one to keep it. so they probably forgot about it. Might as well keep it
