Any age is welcome to come around to my house, as long as you put a minimum of effort into a costume. I am delighted to hand out candy to anyone who is enjoying themselves.
Bums who rollerblade up wearing a black or orange t-shirt and can't be bothered to look you in the face when saying 'trick or treat' are the only ones I disapprove of. That's panhandling, in my opinion.
A little effort and enthusiasm and I'm delighted to have anyone come. I dress up to hand it out!
One year a bunch of college students dressed up and trick or treated for canned goods for charity. I admired them very much. So it's not the age, it's the gusto.

I trick or treated every year until I was 18. But I had a younger brother and sister that I usually took plus I look a lot younger so I could get away with it. I think about 15 should be the cut off though.

I actually went trick or treating with my friends back then during 8th grade for the last time. Just go and have fun- I've seen some college kids trick or treating so don't worry. Besides when you get a little older, you will be going to Halloween parties every year so the fun will never stop.

I personally think you are never too old. I went trick or treating till I was maybe in high school. Maybe before that. After that I started going to parties and amusement parks and things like that instead. But now that I have kids, I get to go out again. I may not dress up but I still have a blast going with my kids. You will know when you are too old.

I'm fifteen too, but this isn't going to stop me from trick-or-treating!
Until I am sixteen and can buy candy on my own, I'll continue to do it.
If you feel too old to trick-or-treat, why don't you throw your own Halloween party for your friends? You can do chores around the house or odd jobs around the neighborhood to raise money for it.

I have lots of high school kids and sometimes older come to my door every year. If they are polite and they are doing it for fun. I give them candy and wish them luck. But don't come to my door with a bad attitude. I will run you off.
Holloween it for fun. Why put an age on it. P>S. Wear a costume.

13-14. Last year I saw dozens of "kids" that looked like young adults. I felt like saying something about then going to the store to get their own candy.
