Who should I cosplay as for MTAC[Middle Tennessee Anime Convention]?

I have no clue who I should cosplay as [try to make it someone with brown hair, for my sake and stuff.. :D.]
I use extensions, so if the character has long hair, boom. Short hair? Boom. :]
Please post some characters you think I could pull off. Thanks!

Do you have any preferences on the type of person you want to go as? Such as:
-Mainstream or not? If you go mainstream (ie Naruto, Bleach, Haruhi) you will be recognized by everyone, but there will be dozens others cosplaying the same exact thing.
-Do you care how recent the series is? Do you want things that are being released in Japan now, or in America now, or older stuff, or no preference?
-Do you want to go as cute or having sex appeal, or someone who is strong-willed or just strong.

No no noo, somewhat some human beings in many situations purchase the gown that they are cosplaying as. I recommend, you could make it, yet once you won't be in a position to stitch or something, i could recommend a family participants member or pal that should assist you in that activity. yet yea, the Anime convention I went to, particularly a lot all the people who have been donning costumes, have been offered offline. good success cosplaying ;D this is soooo a lot exciting!

Well, this year is MTAC Infinity, the theme is Kaiju. So if you want to get elaborate, you could try a giant monster. I'm partial to catgirls myself. ;)

Or if you want something silly, go for Cardcaptor Sakura (or her equivalent in Tsubasa). She's a cute little magical girl, but she has heavy footsteps and her brother teases her by calling her "Kaiju" (monster).

Hand Maid May has about your hair color, if you can act very perky and pull off a look of smallness. Maybe get a mockup of a giant Q-tip or something.

Haruhi Suzumiya is a brown-haired anime girl who's VERY popular right now.

Or you could take a look at the girls from Azumanga Daioh

If you want to cosplay someone with brown hair then i would say you should look inti final fantady advent children there are some rown haird girls. Or from fate/stay night rino Tohsaka, she is cute.Or look into the anime Air gear i like the costumes in that one.
