I seriously think britney has either a drug problem or a drinking problem because a "star" with millions of dollars would not just blow it away if they were "normal" and act like she does...she even cut ties with her parents and sister...do you think the same way i do? I seriously think if she does not stop soon, she is going to wind up dead

Most definitely I agree with you! No one would advertise a comeback and invite people watch them to make a fool of themselves intentionally. Clearly she has a drug or alcohol problem, and looked so spaced out. There's nothing wrong with her body..she looked fine. She just couldn't carry the performance. The media should lay off of her, and try to intervene and get her some help. They did the same thing with Anna Nicole..tried to run her down after her son had died, and wanted to use her. I really hope someone would reach out to Brittney, and help her to get professional help.

Yeah, Britney looked like she had taken drugs or alcohol before the show. She definitely looked like she wished she wasn't there. She didn't even really care about her performance either. Why did she go on tv in the first place? For the money maybe. But it was too much pressure on her. The tabloids have been following her ever since she got married to loser Kevin Federline, pointing out her every flaw. Plus she surrounds herself with yes-men and women. I think she has a lot of unresolved emotional problems. Maybe from being in show business from a very early age. It's obvious that she has major trust issues right now.

I felt so sorry for her while I was watching her performance. I feel like MTV set her up so this could happen. After all the much-publicized trouble she's had this year, she clearly wasn't physically or mentally fit to open a high-profile show like the VMAs. MTV should have had the decency to tell her that they would rather not book her until she can get her personal life cleared up. I am almost positive that they were betting on a train wreck like this to happen so the buzz would be all about the show for days, as it has been. When I heard that she was crying backstage after her performance, it made me think of that one girl every school year who gets persuaded by the popular girls to do something like the talent show, knowing that the end result will be her getting laughed at by the student body. That's exactly the position I think MTV put Britney in.

That generaly goes with the fame , w/o an understatement. Most of them have to fall down and get back up, some dont make it back up.
